YUNGBLUD shuts down streets of Soho with pop-up show

YUNGBLUD surprised fans with a last minute pop-up show in Soho on Friday (June 14), causing the streets to shut down.

The Yorkshire-born artist announced the gig on his social media, with over 400 fans queuing around the block on Berwick Street to catch a glimpse of him in action. Ten police officers were called down to secure the queue and venue, with fans excitedly embracing every moment of YUNGBLUD’s performance.

YUNGBLUD was originally due to be performing overseas on the weekend, however, after his passport was stolen this week he was stranded in the UK. Alongside the incredible pop-up gig, he also took the opportunity to perform on the Big Top stage at the Isle of Wight festival, replacing Sam Fender who had to pull out due to illness.

YUNGBLUD recently unveiled a new track called ‘Parents’, a scathing ode to the adult figures in our lives who love to belittle the younger generation. The track follows on from his huge track ’11 Minutes’, a collaboration with Halsey and Travis Barker. He also recently teamed up with Travis once more on Machine Gun Kelly’s new track ‘I Think I’m OKAY’.
