Liam Payne Dishes On His New Romance With Maya Henry Following Cheryl Cole Split

According to a report from Page Six, Liam Payne has got a new girlfriend and she’s great. The former One Directioner said to the hosts of KISS Breakfast that he’s “very lucky” to have a girl like the model, Maya Henry, who is both “relaxed” and “awesome.”

The 26-year-old was photographed with Henry near the beginning of the week in New York City, however, they’ve also been spotted hanging out in the United Kingdom as well. The pop star said to the hosts of the show that he’s been given the chance to explore London a lot more lately, so he’s happy about that.

According to Payne, his life has been “quite normal recently,” which has been nice for him. The ex-One Direction member stated that he’s really enjoying what life has to offer right now.

The singer-songwriter, who performed alongside Louis Tomlinson this past weekend, claimed he’s no longer trying to keep his relationships out of the limelight.

Describing his relationship with the model, Payne claimed that “it’s been quite nice just going out.” Previously, Payne was in a relationship with Cheryl Cole for two years, beginning in 2016 and ending in 2018. They had their first child together, Bear Grey, in March of 2017.

Payne joked at the time that he had grown accustomed to women breaking up with him on account of the fact he was never really a big “hit” with girls. With that said, however, he was spotted hanging out with Cairo Dwek as well following his split from Cole.

According to a report from The Sun from back in August of 2018, Liam hung around Cairo Dwek while in Italy, just one month-and-a-half after his breakup with Cheryl. The outlet reported that the 24-year-old pop-star was hanging around with the 20-year-old model while at the Medusa nightclub in Spain.

Before his breakup with Cole, media reports circulated for a long time about their relationship’s impending collapse. However, both Cheryl and Liam denied the reports, until they eventually came true.
