Double Shot At Love: Vinny Guadagnino Chooses Alysse Joyner In Finale Are They Still Dating?

The Double Shot at Love finale aired last night. MTV’s latest reality TV show featured Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino looking to find lasting love.

It was MTV’s version of The Bachelor but two men and a fist-pumping twist. So, did the guys find love or was it just a ploy for DJ Pauly and his pal Vinny to have their own spin-off show.?

Guadagnino had his sights set on Alysse Joyner since the day he laid eyes on her. The reality TV star chose her in the finale. However, since the show was taped months ago, fans were quick to question whether or not the relationship was real.

Sadly, it looks like Guadagnino’s shot at love went the way of so many Bachelor and Bachelorette couples, a first-class ticket to nowhere. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star used social media to update his followers on his current relationship status.

“Unfortunately, Alysse and I weren’t allowed to see each other publicly after filming for 5 months until the finale aired to not spoil the ending. Very weird situation to be put in after the finale,” the 31-year-old shared on Twitter.

He went on to explain it was challenging to maintain a relationship with Joyner since they could not see each other. A relationship through text message only was not ideal, and it turns out the couple could not make it work.

“I struggled to keep it alive through text. Still think she’s amazing. Wish her the best,” he ended his message letting fans know he is once again single.

Pauly D did not fare any better. Although he dumped Nikki Hall during the finale, the two apparently attempted to date after for a hot second. Their romance has gone south too. Hall and Pauly D got into it on the reunion show over why he blocked her on Twitter.

A Double Shot at Love is over. Both Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio walked away as single as they were when the show began filming. There is no word on whether or not they will try their hand at finding the one on reality TV again or not.
