Did Megan Fox Go To College?
There is no doubt that you have seen Megan Fox’s face plastered on websites, music videos, and movie screens for the past couple of decades. However, it did not all start there.
Megan Fox did not go to college. She decided at a young age that she wanted to get into acting, and moved out on her own as soon as she could.
Here is just one example of Fox’s early roles, “Holiday in the Sun,” a film from 2001 with the Olsen sisters. You can watch a clip using the YouTube link below.
From Rural Towns to the Bright Lights
Megan Fox may have been born and raised in the small mountain town of Oak Ridge, Tennessee – near the larger city of Memphis, but she knew that she had her sights set on bigger things from a young age.
At the age of 2, Megan already knew that she wanted to be an actress.
At the age of 3, her parents had divorced. The family lived very modestly, doing their best to make the most of the little money they had, for most of her childhood.
At the age of 4 or 5, Megan Fox watched “The Wizard of Oz” seemingly endlessly, as she asked her mother to refer to her as Dorothy.
Her mother was responsible for explaining to her that Dorothy was a character in the movie, played by an actress, rather than a real person. From that point moving forward, Megan Fox had no doubts that she wanted to be an actress.
She began singing and taking dance lessons and continued those throughout her early childhood. By age 13, her family had moved to St. Petersburg Florida, and she enrolled in modeling classes.
With her stunning looks, it is no surprise that Megan Fox found great success in the modeling industry.
She won several prizes at modeling competitions, saving her prize money. By the age of 16, she dropped out of her high school and moved to Los Angeles to launch her career in the acting and modeling industry.
Megan Fox starred in “Holiday in the Sun” as her first film in 2001, and continued to guest star on various television roles. She was next seen in “Ocean Ave,” a soap opera, and a guest role in “What I Like About You,” within the following year of 2002.
Megan Fox continued to gain traction in the acting industry and she has since been seen in “Transformers,” her most successful movie to be produced. She has also been featured in various men’s magazines – after catching the eyes of several men during her role in “Transformers” – and was named “Sexiest Woman Alive” in 2008.
Needless to say, Megan Fox established a career for herself without a college education, or even a completed high school diploma for that matter.

Fox’s Approach to Nontraditional Education
Clearly, the nontraditional approach to education worked out in Fox’s favor.
In fact, she seems to carry this holistic perspective toward education in several matters – including that of her own children. Fox sends her children to a vegan school, which she says aligns with her personal beliefs and parenting style.
Fox explains that the children are taught how to plant, grow, and harvest their own food, as well as selling the harvested crops to local restaurants to learn more about the process.
There is no skepticism surrounding the benefits of eating a plant-based diet. Maybe this will be the start of something new.
Without a doubt, Megan Fox has never followed the beaten path before. She prefers the scenic road less traveled.
