Celebrate Valentine's Day With Sex and the City's Patricia Field

Va-va-voom for Valentine's Day!

Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field is branching out from Carrie Bradshaw's stilettos and throwing a sexy soiree in the city: a Valentine's Ball at NYC's Capitale on February 11 (with music by DJ Cassidy).

"The seed of the event goes back maybe about 15 years, when I sent a Valentine's Day card to all my friends because I was too busy to do a Christmas card. They were so happy," Field tells UsMagazine.com. "I feel Valentine's Day is kind of the forgotten holiday, so I thought, 'Come on, let's celebrate love."

Field, whose birthday falls the day after the fete, also has three beauty tips for the ball and beyond:
