Publish date: 2024-06-12

A day before it’s officially released, we have the exclusive premiere of “That Bitch Remix” by Cedric St Louis & Fat Westbrook. It sees the latter jump on the former’s track, which has been rising in underground hip-hop circles. This will follow up their previous collaboration on the track “Mike Tyson” which followed their first release together, “Alkaline (Water)”, which is all leading up to their upcoming EP, titled “Castor & Pollux”.

Cedric St Louis is a hip-hop artist who grew up in Spring Valley, NY, where he escaped into the music world. He experimented with music in his high school years, dropping bedroom-recorded mixtapes, allowing him to define the hip-hop style road he wanted to take, musically. Quickly becoming one of the best rising and up-and-coming hip-hop artists in the industry, Cedric St Louis has a true sense of self-identity and is determined to not only prove to the world that hip-hop is for everyone, but to also inspire others around the world with his artistry. Navigating the hip-hop world as a black, openly-gay, man is not easy but he is determined to push himself within this genre as well as the alternative genre in the hope to empower his listeners. He has already made an impact, as his collaboration with Ruth, titled “Anamalech”, from his debut EP, “This Can’t Be Real”, has already been streamed hundreds of thousands of times on Spotify, making it his most-streamed track, to date.

As for Fat Westbrook, he is a hip-hop, rapper, and instrumentalist hailing from Spring Valley, New York. He has been working on his music for the past couple of years, taking inspiration from his hometown as well as his Haitian identity. He dropped his debut studio album in 2021, titled “Exit 11”, which saw him collaborate with Grant Cammock on the track “What Happened to Your Hair?”. His music delves into real experiences, stories, and emotions, with hard-hitting beats and a charismatic word flow. His music is beyond influential and that is proven by his most-streamed Spotify track, “I Can’t Let You Know”. We’re sure his listeners feel inspired by his music, and we’re excited to see what else he releases in the future.

The original track has just over 6,000 Spotify streams, showcasing the popularity of the track among Cedric St Louis’ fans, and so it’s refreshing to hear this new take with Fat Westbrook. Spreading more confidence than ever to their listeners, this team-up on this track goes in hard and releases positivity to all – especially to those who sing along to that epic, addictive chorus that will certainly be giving us belief in ourselves. The rappers bounce off each other effortlessly, creating a friendship camaraderie within the lyrics and boosting each other up. Add that to the incredible new production vibe from producer, crybby, and “That Bitch Remix” is the track you’ll be listening to, on repeat, for the next few weeks – we cannot get enough of it.
