Former Bachelor contestant Brittany Hockley has gone Instagram-official with her new partner, Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist.

The 35-year-old co-host of the Life Uncut podcast, who partook in Nick Cummins’ infamous 2018 Bachelor season, shared a montage of images of herself and the 30-year-old Celtic Football Club goalkeeper exploring France.

“From Paris, with love,” Hockley captioned the video. “Think I may have found me a keeper #hardestlaunch.”

The couple met in November, first connecting on the celebrity dating app Raya while Siegrist’s team was playing in Australia, against Sydney FC.

Hockley has spent the holiday period in Scotland, where Siegrist is based.

She went into further detail on Life Uncut’s Instagram, writing that she “went and unexpectedly fell in love, in case you missed it”.

“Thank you for your patience with me while I was figuring it out! I know you wanted to know all about it, and I can’t wait to share it with you a little more,” she added, describing Siegrist as the “biggest supporter” of her podcasting career.

Opened up about her mental health in a raw, emotional interview last June following her break-up from tennis star Jordan Thompson.

Hockley sat down with KIIS Network’s Will & Woody for a candid discussion about her heartbreak-riddled journey for love.

Through tears, former healthcare worker said she felt “unloved”, after a ten-year search for ‘the one’.

“I feel very unloved, like something must be wrong with me, like I’m the common denominator,” Hockley said.

“I’ve had like ten years of horrific things happening to me, some public, some very private. But I just feel like I can’t find love or feel loved. I always feel like, ‘Here I am again, I’m unloved again. I’m heartbroken again.’”

To which her podcast co-host Laura Byrne asked, “Do you think that this has been more amplified this year … feeling like being put back into the same place as last year?”

Breaking down in tears, Hockley responded: “I had what I thought was finally love, and … yeah. It just puts you back a step.”

The brunette beauty and Thompson went their separate ways at the beginning of 2021, citing difficulty maintaining a long-distance relationship as Thompson’s sporting career continued to take him abroad for months on end.

Speaking on Life Uncut after the split, Hockley said the break-up had been amicable, making it all the more difficult to recover from.

“There have been days I didn’t get out of bed, there have been days I didn’t stop crying,” she confessed.

“There is not a story here. There is nothing that happened. It is the most beautiful and amicable break-up … we’re at a point of life where we couldn’t physically be together.”

Hockley rose to fame on the Honey Badger’s season of the reality show, which memorably saw no winning suitress in the finale, with both Hockley and Sophie Tieman dumped on national television.

Tieman went on to tie the knot with “best friend” Joe Bolster last May, while Cummins welcomed a child with girlfriend Alexandra George.
